Scott Peters advises school boards on a variety of legal matters, including the Americans with Disabilities Act, the IDEA, Section 504, the Family and Medical Leave Act, and the Fair Labor Standards Act. Scott’s practice encompasses special education, labor relations, employee discipline/termination, student discipline, Sunshine Law and public records issues, student records issues, and technology issues involving students and staff. He is a frequent speaker at the Ashland Leadership Academy Seminars, Ohio School Boards Association seminars, and other professional organizations throughout the state.
