Krista Keim's practice encompasses a diverse range of school law matters, including general labor and employment, board policy formation and compliance, student and employee discipline, Sunshine Law and public records, enrollment and tuition, and confidential student records. She has wide-ranging experience defending boards of education in federal and state court civil rights and employment discrimination litigation, as well as general breach of contract and tort matters. Krista has represented boards in discrimination charges filed with state and federal administrative agencies, including the Ohio Civil Rights Commission, U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, and U.S. Department Education's Office for Civil Rights. She has presented a host of school law topics to Ohio educators at a variety of venues, from the Ohio School Board Association's state-wide convention to local in-services.
